Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026 · Wag Media, LLC (“we,” “us”). Covers the public calendar, the calendar feeds, and the Buffalive app.

1. The short version

You can browse the public calendar without giving us anything. Some features collect information you choose to provide: signing in to the Buffalive beta (your email), signing up for the weekly digest (your email), requesting a featured show or sponsorship (event details and a contact email), and suggesting a venue (venue details and an optional contact email). We use that information only to run those features. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers.

2. What we collect and why

Beta account. Signing in to the Buffalive app uses a link sent to your email address. We store that email to operate your account and your personal calendar-feed link.

Weekly digest. If you sign up, we store your email and where you signed up from, and use it only to send the digest. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Sponsorship requests. The “Feature my show” form collects event details (venue, performers, date, links) and your contact email, which we use to review the request, correspond with you about it, and run the listing. Event information you email us is used the same way.

Venue suggestions. The “Don’t see your venue?” form collects a venue name, address, and website URL, plus optional notes and contact email, which we use to evaluate the venue and add its listings. The form also offers to open a pre-addressed email in your own mail app; sending that email is up to you and goes through your email provider.

Page counts. We keep aggregate page-view records consisting of the page viewed, the referring page, and country. We do not store your IP address in those records, do not use analytics cookies, and do not build visitor profiles.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you sign in to the Buffalive app, a session token is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in; signing out clears it.

4. Hosting and service providers

The site is served through Cloudflare, which — like virtually all web hosts — automatically processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, timestamp, and browser type) to deliver and secure the site, under its own privacy practices. Accounts, digest signups, sponsorship requests, venue suggestions, and event data are stored with Supabase, which provides our database, authentication, and server functions. These providers process data to run the service for us; we do not sell your information to them or anyone else.

5. The map view and directions

If you open the app’s map view, your browser loads map imagery from OpenStreetMap’s servers and the map software from the unpkg content-delivery network; like any web request, those services receive standard technical data (such as your IP address) directly from your browser. The “Directions” links open Google Maps or Apple Maps only if you tap them, and are governed by those providers’ policies.

6. Subscribing to the calendar

The public feed is fetched by your calendar app (Apple, Google, or other); we don’t know who subscribes to it. Personal feed links issued in the Buffalive app are tied to your account so your feed works and can be revoked — don’t share your link. How your calendar app handles feed data is governed by your calendar provider’s privacy policy.

7. Payments

Sponsorship payments are made directly to the Sportsmen’s Americana Music Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. We currently arrange payment by emailing you a payment link after review. When online card checkout launches, card details will go to the payment processor, not to us; we never see or store full card numbers.

8. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above as needed to operate the service, with the Sportsmen’s Americana Music Foundation as needed to process a sponsorship you request, and if required by law.

9. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the digest at any time, and you can ask us to show you or delete the information we hold about you — email admin@wagmediallc.com. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Effective” date above shows the latest version.
